Elizabeth will talk about how she creates books for young readers, including historical nonfiction and fiction books. Copies of her picture book, Cedric and the Dragon, will be available for sale at the event.
Lori McElrath-Eslick’s Art Showcased in Grand Rapids Sept 23-Oct 11, 2015
Illustrator Lori McElrath-Eslick's artwork is being showcased as part of ART Prize September 23—October 11, 2015, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Lori's work on exhibit is an original oil on canvas painting published in the children's magazine Cricket. The painting illustrates a poem by Children's Poet Laureate, J. Patrick Lewis, titled "BALLAD FOR MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR. 1963." The painting is on exhibit in the front window of Oppenheimer & Co.
